CHECK OUT SOME OF OUR FAVOURITE CLIENTS BELOW

Buff Performance is a multi-faceted fitness, health & wellness company led by former Taekwondo world champion and current Olympic & Paralympic coach - Niamh Buffini. Agility is a key skill for any martial artist, so naturally the team at Buff Performance were quick to reposition and adapt their business model when the pandemic took over in 2020. Embracing video-based online training, they barely missed a step and have been able to continue expanding their services to more and more people.

From January to April 2021, we got to capture and showcase everything this dynamic company has to offer. From basic health & fitness to strength & conditioning, athlete support, nutrition and corporate wellness, Buff Performance will give you the perfectly-placed kick you need to reach your goals.
You can learn more about them on their site: buffperformance.com

We love building long-lasting relationships with our clients, and since late 2020 we have been lucky enough to work with Barróg Healthcare. Led by James & Jenny Webb, Barróg is a family-run company that offers support to people across Ireland in the areas of disability, mental health, aftercare and mainstream social care. While the company itself is somewhat new (formed in February 2019), the people at the heart of it have abundant experience in the Irish health & social care sector. That's allowed them to grow into one of the most well-respected and innovative healthcare services in Ireland, in just two years.

Regular filming with Barróg has only cemented what we learned from our first shoot date with them...
their tagline - "Excellence in Compassionate Care" might well be an understatement. Anyone who has encountered this group will tell you that the care & compassion they offer to their clients is second to literally no-one.

We love to prove that video is the best way to get the message across, so that's enough typing from us. Check out our work with Barróg for yourself, and visit their site for more info - barroghealthcare.ie

RNH

ACADEMY

'Turning dancers into athletes'

Our primary client in 2019 and early 2020, RNH Academy are a forward-thinking business and clear leader in the niche space they occupy. Led by 6x world champion Irish dancer Lauren Early and renowned fitness coach/entrepreneur Robert McAvoy, they have methodically built a company and a community that has injected fresh life into the distinctly traditional world of Irish dancing.

It's through our work with RNH that we've learned how to develop a close-knit and lasting relationship with our clients. Early on we discovered a style of content that fit their brand perfectly. Together, we created numerous promotional videos for new features of their business... along with vlogs, social media clips, photos, podcasts and even a fully fleshed out on-demand app, with 7 different video series on dance-techniques, fitness-training, plus light-hearted interviews with the coaches. They've even now moved into manufacturing dresses for dancers.

actafun

Actafun is an exciting tech start-up, led by young entrepreneur, Steven Kinvi.

Their app connects like-minded strangers, who sign up for some of Ireland's best indoor and outdoor activities with groups of random people.

We joined them for a trip to Zero Latency; a state-of-the-art virtual reality arena in Sandyford, South Dublin. This place raised our expectations of what a VR arena should offer, and we weren't even the ones playing!

We filmed this video specifically for Actafun to promote their service on instagram stories. We think it captures what they're all about. From this real-life voice note, we think Steven agrees...

WE11_2col_v1.png

'luxury space for freelance fitness professionals to train their clients. flexible and commitment free.'

On recommendation from RNH, 2019 saw us visit London and WE11 - a unique facility for freelance personal trainers in the heart of Oxford Circus. They offer a highly flexible service for trainers looking to grow their business, in a space that would impress any client. They even had a visit from David Beckham!

As always, our job was to capture what makes this client spacial... and we had plenty to work with. Aside from the friendly staff and premium training equipment, the building layout and design creates a distinct atmosphere that mirrors the ultra-modern yet welcoming feel of the WE11 brand. Check out the videos above or go to www.we11.com to see for yourself.

BARISTA TRAINING AT THE BESTSELLER CAFÉ

Bestseller Café was known to us as a much-loved provider of premium coffee, food, wine and relaxation in the centre of Dublin. Bookshelves and artwork run from wall-to-wall, making it a comfortable space for busy professionals and students to spend an hour or two. Drop in on any given day you're likely to see a lot of the same faces - largely thanks to the staff, who seem genuinely keen to get to know their customers.

We joined them for one of their Wolfe & Stone coffee trainings; a series of after-hours courses hosted by head barista Matt Coade, which helped new baristas fine-tune their skills and learn more about their craft. Certificates given on completion of the course served as valuable references for those looking to land a job at top cafés around the city.

We were flies on the wall for this one, where we learned that the fun atmosphere in Bestseller isn't limited to business hours. Check out the video above, and go to bestsellerdublin.com to see their menu.

Joe lacey

KICKBOXER

Joe is a young and talented kickboxer based in Dublin. From age 12 he studied his craft in Spartan Martial Arts, Dublin 15, before making the movie to Elite Martial Arts in Beaumont.

We worked with him towards the end of his time as a Spartan in 2018. Prior to filming we spent time with Joe and he described his journey in the sport to us. It was a story of persistence; training, traveling and fighting year after year to bridge the gap between runner up and champion. We wanted create a piece that reflected his determination. Check it out above.

In 2019, Joe became Irish national champion for the first time, going on to represent Ireland at the World Kickboxing championships later that year. At Studio VP, we are always looking for hungry, passionate athletes or sports teams with a story to tell. If that's you, make sure to go to our contact page and tell us what you're about. We would love to hear from you.
